Naming Architecture
Naming architecture is the strategic analysis and development of optimal relationship structures among multiple levels of company, brand, product, feature, technology, or ingredient names. Also referred to, confusingly, as brand architecture, strategic naming, nomenclature systems, or name taxonomy, we have adopted the term "naming architecture" here as the clearest and most descriptive of these options. From our first naming architecture projects in 1989, Master-McNeil has refined and extended our naming architecture capabilities, creating successful naming architectures for clients ranging from young, high-growth technology companies to the largest industrial corporations. We believe that no one is more experienced, or does more of this work, than we do.
Master-McNeil naming architecture clients include Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer, Akamai, Cadence Design Systems, Cylink, Adobe Systems, Aspect Telecommunications, and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD).
