A global, multi-lingual approach is intrinsic to every Master-McNeil
name creation project. Master-McNeil has professional linguists
on staff, because in our view international pronunciation, negative
meaning, and cultural appropriateness issues are integral to every
stage of a new naming project. This is in contrast to most firms,
where there is little or no in-house linguistic capability, and
typically review only a few candidate names at the end of a project,
using freelancers. Our in-house staff covers all major European
and Asian languages.
Additionally, beyond the many languages covered by our staff,
we have developed our Native Speakers Panel methodology, which lets
us assess names in virtually any language worldwide. A detailed,
written report, with our professional recommendations for how to
move forward, is provided to clients of our Native Speakers Panel
work.
