United States Patent and Trademark Office

All links take you to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) web site. The USPTO uses a "Form Wizard" to create a form tailored to your specific filing needs. The name for this system is the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS). TEAS allows you to fill out a form, check it for completeness, and then submit the form directly to the USPTO over the internet, making an official filing on-line. You may also contact the Trademark Assistance Center at 800-786-9199 for paper forms; however, paper forms are not processed as quickly as those submitted electronically.
